The perfect Christmas gift for my brother in law, however it turns out some of the questions are not really suitable for parents… who knew?! Oh wait, you guys did, I did, we all did. So we read them out anyway and embraced the blushing embarrassment.

Played over zoom on nye (what could be more 2020?) We were crying with laughter at some of the cards, although I will say some of the ‘debate’ cards were more of a ‘unanimous agreement’ card which cut those discussions pretty short. But the ‘would you rather your sneezes sound like farts or your farts sound like sneezes’ was the highlight of the evening.
I ordered this for my son for his birthday. Shipped to the USA and was received well before his birthday (SO QUICK)! He thinks it’s great.
The Shame of Life is a fabulous family game… as long as your family are over 16 and don’t mind some awkward but hilarious conversation. The game can last as long as you want it to. Some cards can inspire conversation that lasts 30 minutes yet some cards are 1 word answers. I can’t recommend this game enough. It’s amazing!!!
A very well received gift which was played straight away and ensued barrels of laughter and a three hour delay to our Christmas Day walk. Unputdownable. Brilliant!

My 76 year old Mother In Law has always presented as a polite, reserved and somewhat reticent character…. until we played this game as a family at Christmas. Perhaps it was the wine, perhaps it was the four glasses of Baileys or perhaps it was the fact that lockdown has us all prepared to take risks. Whatever it was that woman surprised, nay shocked, us all with her random, disgusting and divinely humorous answers. I will never be able to look at a Baileys bottle without blushing again…

A fantastic game to play drunk! Due to the lockdown we all decided to stay home for Christmas Day. I sent pictures of the cards to my family and then we all got together online. I have been traumatised by some of my brother-in-laws answers and will never be able to look him in the eye again! Thanks for such a fun evening, well worth every penny!
This was bought as a gift, so I only got one go at playing. Just brilliant. Be prepared to be unable to read out the cards because you cannot speak for laughing.

We played this game with our grandchildren ( after removing some of the more unsuitable cards obviously), we had such a laugh and a couple of nearly sensible discussions. Well worth the money, it kept us entertained for a couple of hours
